Rebecca BOUQUot - Owner of Wildologyaz


Rebecca started WildologyAZ in 2013 with the passion to get kids outdoors. She believes it is important for everyone to experience the natural world. Rebecca is a 3rd generation native to Arizona and has a background in water quality, watershed restoration, project management, grant writing and teaching. Rebecca is always looking for more opportunities to educate our youth on how to enjoy and sustain our beautiful state. She loves to hike, trail run, birdwatch and practice primitive survival!

Michelle van Riper - lead educator


Michelle is an Arizona native, with a background in agriculture and business. She loves to go camp, hike and hang out with her two sons. You will find Michelle in the classroom and outdoors. She teaches herpetology, animal adaptations, fishing and kayaking. She inherited a love for reptiles from her father and brother.

Tiffany EIChlER - Lead Educator


Tiffany moved to Arizona in 1987 and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in education. She taught for 10 years in the Litchfield Elementary School District. Tiffany brings class management and organization skills with her wherever she goes! She enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing and relaxing in the outdoors!

Jamie mathews - lead educator


Jamie moved to Arizona in 2011 to escape the cold weather of Chicago! Jamie is a K-8 certified teacher, with an endorsement in ESL and adult education. You can find Jamie in the classroom, teaching at the college or outdoors! Jamie’s favorite lessons to teach are wilderness survival, tying flies and geology!

TENnilLE loeffelholz - lead educator


Tennille moved to Arizona in 1999, with no plans on ever leaving. You will find Tennille inside the classroom teaching science, or outdoors sharing her passion for pollinators (bees are her favorite) and aquatic insects with others. She also loves to hike, kayak and workout. Tennille believes connecting indoor lessons to the outside world provides a more meaningful experience for students!


In 2018, Rebecca Bouquot received the Arizona Game & Fish Department Commissioner’s Award for Educator of the year.
